"The Phoenix" is a real one-of-a-kind piece made of driftwood from Lake Constance on a metal base. The wood was extensively cleaned, dried and treated against pests. 
 There are two healthy tillandsia on the wood. The changeover from the warm, humid tropical home to our dry living rooms was climate-computer-controlled by a fog system from a German nursery.
 If cared for according to instructions, the Tillandsia also bloom very beautifully.
